Urban Company, a leading at-home service provider, offers professional solutions for various home services, from salon treatments to cleaning. Headquartered in Dubai, the client wanted to produce a series of short, dynamic ads for their “Home Salon” and “Cleaning” campaigns. The goal was to create visually appealing and informative ads in both Arabic and English to engage a diverse audience across different regions. The ads needed to reflect the professionalism and ease of Urban Company’s services while being relatable to their target customers.

Creating Quick & Engaging Ads to Showcase Urban Company Services

Background

Urban Company sought to build awareness and trust for their home services, particularly for their “Home Salon” and “Cleaning” services. The company wanted four ads, two for each campaign, to emphasize the convenience and quality they offer to customers. With a high demand for professional services at home, Urban Company needed content that would resonate with both Arabic and English-speaking audiences. The project required efficient production within two days, including full service from preproduction through post-production.

Challenges

The primary challenge was managing a two-day production timeline while coordinating between cast, crew, and multiple locations. Ensuring the ads were consistent in tone and visual appeal across different languages (Arabic and English) was another challenge. Additionally, we had to handle all logistics, such as equipment rentals, location management, approvals, and narrative development, while maintaining a tight production schedule.

Our approach

To meet the client’s objectives and deadlines, we created detailed storyboards and narratives for both campaigns, ensuring that each ad captured the core message of Urban Company’s services. We handled all aspects of the production process, including location scouting, cast management, and equipment rental. Our team secured approvals ahead of time, allowing for a smooth shoot across both days. In post-production, we developed animations and text overlays to ensure clarity and engagement, and brought in voiceover artists for both English and Arabic versions.
